We stayed for a week and really enjoyed the breakfast and the location—super close to highway 50! The room was clean, but those carpets could definitely use a good shampoo. Had a nice picnic area outside, which was a bonus for a quick meal.

The a/c worked great, nice & cool when I walked in which was much appreciated in this heat. Comfortable bed & pillows really helped me get a good night's sleep.

Even though we had made prior arrangements, the room was cramped for the wheelchair and the bathroom setup was not ideal for bathing. The stay included a spacious queen room with two queen beds, but cleanliness was a major issue. it smelled like dogs and had hair everywhere, affecting my allergies. i had a great time during my stay at the super 8 compared to my previous visit in fairview heights. the room was nicely updated and very clean, which made resting after a long day feel so much better. the staff was friendly and attentive, exceeding my expectations.

the vending machine was broken.

It was just a commendable fit for a city holiday in Fairview Heights with great value-to-price ratio. Check-in was smooth, but only two lights worked in the room, making it hard to see the real state of things. there are better options nearby.

I checked in around 8 pm, and the process went smoothly. The room had some real issues, though. The refrigerator leaked onto the carpet, so my socks got wet every time I walked near it. The desk chair had dried spills on it, which made me uncomfortable sitting down to work. A few walls had chunks of paint missing, and there was a piece of wood finish hanging loose above the desk. I didn't expect luxury for $65 a night, but comfort is reasonable to ask for. I did ask to move to another room the next morning. The front desk claimed nothing else was available despite the noticeable vacancy. Even a simple request for a different chair was denied. They don't replace furniture apparently. After some back-and-forth, they agreed to refund my two unused days but only after I checked out by 11 am. The receptionist acted as if he had done me a favor after I returned the room key. Definitely not the experience I was hoping for.
